Brain Awareness Week is taking place this week from 16 to 22 March to foster public enthusiasm and support for brain science. It is a global campaign which was initiated by the Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives (DABI) and the European Dana Alliance for the Brain (EDAB) in 1996. It is coordinated by the Dana Foundation and has evolved into a global education initiative revolving around the theme that brain research is the hope for treatments, preventions and possible cures for brain diseases and disorders.
You can participate online via a range of activities including lectures or panel discussions in the form of a webinar or by sharing social media posts about #BrainAwarenessWeek .
