The Brain, Mind and Pain initiative, coordinated by the European Federation of Neurological Associations (EFNA) and Pain Alliance Europe (PAE), has released its Book of Evidence for the 2019-2024 EU mandate.
This document sets key areas of action with the ultimate goal of delivering better care for people with neurological and chronic pain disorders in Europe.
Key areas of action are the following:
- Eradicate stigma, isolation and discrimination
- Ensure equitable access to treatment, services and support
- Promote patient empowerment for increased engagement and involvement
This will be used as a core policy document by the MEP Interest Group on Brain, Mind and Pain.
